After months of planning and preparation the time is here, Evan’s 40th Birthday. Evan has two passions in life growing clean, delicious, nutritious food and playing great live music.
You are invited to come and join us at the Nelson Hotel from 6:30 pm this Saturday 2nd August for a powerful evening of live music from Evan’s band Tommy Collins and The Southern Lights. This band is developing a solid following in the region and are known for putting on a great live performance not to be missed in person.
Evan has had a life of adversity and adventure and we look forward to celebrating this milestone birthday with you at the gig!
The Bistro will be open and our vegetables form part of the menu, entry is free but we advise booking a table for your meal.
Our produce is available year round at Food For Thought in Mount Gambier where you can find a wide range of healthy products to compliment our vegetables.
Our produce is featured on the menu at the Nelson Hotel and customers are welcome to come and visit the farm to take a look and purchase vegetables and supplements Monday to Saturday between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Notes From The Garden
At Rainbow OMG we recognise the centuries long tradition of Moon Planting. In short the different phases of the Moon correspond to growth in in different parts of plants with about 7 days for each phase. The order is Leaf, Fruit/Flower, Root and Stop. We find this cycle an excellent tool for planning and scheduling of all the regular tasks needed for a functional farm.
We are currently in a Leaf Week so have been transplanting Spinach and Butterhead Lettuce, direct seeding Coriander and Lettuce Salad Mix as well as seeding trays of Spinach, Bok Choi, Butterhead Lettuce and more in the Nursery.
