Returning to the Limestone Coast Pantry
We are excited to announce that our Pop Up Market will be returning this Saturday June 7th to the Limestone Coast Pantry 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. We will have a range of seasonal, fresh produce as well as our hand crafted herbal supplements and Sunshine Salve.
The cold weather has returned as we roll through Autumn into Winter for 2025. We had three frosts in a row last week which ended our Tomatoes, Zucchinis, Capsicums and Basil after a long and productive season. We are almost completely through our lull in production due to a mouse attack on our Nursery a few months ago.
Even with the production drop we have been as busy as ever, taking this time to construct a Nursery Polytunnel and update our Wash Station. The new Nursery is a vital and significant upgrade to our farm and will allow us to produce higher quaility seedling transplants and allow us to increase our production of Indoor House Plants which we will also be offering for sale in the near future.
Our produce is featured on the menu at the Nelson Hotel and customers are welcome to come and visit the farm to take a look and purchase vegetables Monday to Saturday between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Notes From The Garden
At Rainbow OMG we recognise the centuries long tradition of Moon Planting. In short the different phases of the Moon correspond to growth in in different parts of plants with about 7 days for each phase. The order is Leaf, Fruit/Flower, Root and Stop. We find this cycle an excellent tool for planning and scheduling of all the regular tasks needed for a functional farm.
We are currently in a Flower/Fruit Week which means direct seeding Sugar Snap Peas and transplanting Broccoli. We also still have some work to do to finish the new Greenhouse and have been on a re-organising binge in general across all aspects of our farm and home. Cold weather is the time to get everything back in order after the intense Summer growing season.
