We Are Back On YouTube

A few days into this new year we declared to ourselves that 2023 was going to be our breakout year. Making such a statement is one thing but manifesting it into reality requires enormous daily effort and discipline, including regular social media posts across multiple platforms. We are proud to announce that the Rainbow OMG YouTube Channel is now live and we uploaded a brief welcome video. It has been Jill’s dream for 5 years to have a YouTube Channel where she can share her knowledge, passion and enthusiasm with the world and we are finally doing it. Look forward to a new video from us every Tuesday.

Most of our readers would be unaware that we started a YouTube channel when we first moved to the Mallee. Our goal was to share sections of our lives and teach others at the same time. After several attacks coming from different directions we were forced to shut down our YouTube channel and Blog and shelve the idea for quite a while. To say that we have been through hard times in the interim does no justice to the struggles we have been through but like a Phoenix we have risen from the ashes more powerful than ever. Look out world we are coming!

 Notes From The Garden

We are loaded with Cherry Tomatoes and Zucchinis and Capsicums are almost ready! This is Flower and Fruit Week in the Lunar Calendar so we have been working with all the Summer fruits, being Cucumbers, Zucchinis, Tomatoes, Capsicums and Beans as well as early sowing of of cold season vegetables like Brocolli and Sugar Snap Peas. We are hoping to grow a lot more Brocolli this year after some good lessons learnt about growing it in this climate last season.

This week the Garden is providing Butterhead Lettuce, Garlic, Cucumbers, Beetroots, Tomatoes, Zucchini’s, Eggs, Rainbow Chard, Red Russian Kale, Carrots and Celery.

Crops currently growing but not ready are Green Beans, Bok Choi, Capsicums, Cucumbers, Corn, Coriander, Parsley and Basil.

Some of our products may be a little different to what customers are used to so we will be providing Product Profiles in our Weekly Post and in a dedicated page on our website. This will provide recipe ideas and nutritional information for all of the vegetables and products we offer.
