Hello Rainbow OMGers,
We are gearing up for the Big Sky Festival Market 3-7 pm, this Saturday 26 March. As you can see above there will be a great range of stalls to compliment the great lineup of musicians, we are looking forward to a great day.
This week we moved our Nursery back into the Greenhouse. In order to maintain optimum temperatures for our seedlings throughout the year we have to move Nursery between different structures. It is now cool and shady enough to move them back into the poly tunnel. We also planted Beetroots in the garden as well as seeding more Onions and Beetroots in the Nursery.
We have also sourced new and better packaging for our Lettuce as well as better produce bags to increase the life of our veg in your refrigerator. We thank everyone for their understanding as we iron out the kinks in our new operation.
In order to maximise our range at the Market on Saturday we have decided not to offer any deliveries this Friday other than for our CSA members. We look forward to seeing all our regular retail customers and many new ones at the market.
This week the garden is providing a lot of Green Beans, Zucchini’s, Bok Choi, Carrots, Cucumbers, Beetroots, Butterhead Lettuce, Cherry Tomatoes, Rainbow Chard, Basil and Parsley. Customers at the market can look forward to all of our fresh produce as well as our full range of tinctures, supplement blends and probiotics.
Crops currently growing but not ready this week are Spinach, Coriander, Red Russian Kale, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Sugar Snap Peas, Beefsteak Tomatoes, Roma Tomatoes, Capsicums.
