First Market for 2026
Welcome to 2026 we have been very busy over the Summer Holidays with a steady stream of visitors coming to look at the farm and purchase some items as well as delivering to all of our commercial clients. We have had our best month of sales ever and things are looking on the up for our business. It has taken 5 years but we appear to be on track for a sustainable business capable of fully supporting our family. Thank you to everyone who has ever supported us in the past, present and future.
This Sunday January 25 we are holding our first Market Stall of the year. The Nelson Regatta is on all weekend and Sunday there is a market from 10:00 am in the side yard of the Nelson Hotel. We will be there with our full spread of available Vegetables and Herbs, Nelson Honey, Sunshine Salve, Happy Heart Hot Chocolate blends, Silver Colloid Products and Indoor House Plants. We look forward to seeing you there and enjoying the entire weekend.
Our produce is available year round at Food For Thought in Mount Gambier as well as Willow & Bean in Portland who also feature our produce on their menu.
We also supply produce to the Bayside Cafe in Portland, the Parade Fish and Chip Shop in Port Macdonnell and the Nelson Hotel.

Notes From The Garden
At Rainbow OMG we recognise the centuries long tradition of Moon Planting. In short the different phases of the Moon correspond to growth in in different parts of plants with about 7 days for each phase. The order is Leaf, Fruit/Flower, Root and Stop. We find this cycle an excellent tool for planning and scheduling of all the regular tasks needed for a functional farm.
We are currently in a Leaf Week and have direct seeded Salad Mix, Rocket, Coriander and Parsley as well as seeding trays of Bok Choi, Spinach, Spring Onions, Basil and some Butterhead Lettuce. Available in 200g or 500g bags.
