Pop Up Market Postponed<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Greetings to all of our fantastic followers. This is a brief update to say that we have assessed the garden and have decided to postpone our Pop Up Market this Sunday until next week. By doing this we will have a broader range of vegetables and supplements to offer so we will return the the Limestone Coast Pantry on Sunday 29th June 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always our supplements are available 24\/7 from our website and can be posted anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our produce is featured on the menu at the\u00a0Nelson Hotel<\/a>\u00a0and customers are welcome to come and visit the farm to take a look and purchase vegetables and supplements Monday to Saturday between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Look out for official farm tours coming soon!

Our\u00a0online store<\/a>\u00a0is now live meaning customers from all over Australia and the world can order our supplement range to be posted to them.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes From The Garden<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

At Rainbow OMG we recognise the centuries long tradition of Moon Planting. In short the different phases of the Moon correspond to growth in in different parts of plants with about 7 days for each phase. The order is Leaf, Fruit\/Flower, Root and Stop. We find this cycle an excellent tool for planning and scheduling of all the regular tasks needed for a functional farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are currently in a Root Week so have direct seeded Carrots, seeded trays of Beetroots in the new Nursery and top-dressed our Garlic and Carrots beds with compost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Product Focus – Reishi Mushroom Caps<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The Reishi Mushroom<\/a> is and edible mushroom originating from Asia. Whilst it is perfectly fine and safe to eat, Reishi Mushroom\u2019s have quite a bitter taste which can be a turn off for people from western cultures. Much like Beef Liver<\/a>, we recommend consuming them in capsule form to enjoy the health benefits in a convenient and tasteless form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reishi\u2019s have a very long history of use by Traditional Chinese Medicine practioners and are an Adaptogen meaning they help to bring balance to various systems within the body. They are also a Prebiotic, which means they contain compounds that feed Probiotic Bacteria within our body i.e. taking Reishi Mushrooms can increase the effectiveness of Gardenkraut<\/a> by feeding the probiotic bacteria in your system after you consume them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
